Description
THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'
In October 1969 EMI introduced this new '1-EMI-box' design label to replace the yellow & black design which had been employed since April 1963. Most utilized the same matrices with the original 'tube-cut' mixes/masters as the 1st pressing and are their equal in sound quality..
This NEAR MINT stereo pressing dates from October 1969 and is on the '1-EMI Box' EMI/Parlophone label: PCS 3058
Both labels carry the 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' & 'Made In Gt. Britain' rim texts.
Matrix numbers: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1 (the same as the 1964 1st pressing)
Stamper codes: 3,4/LP & 2/PT
Vinyl weight: 141g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover without a stereo front indicator.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
