THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'
This superb UK STEREO pressing of their 1964 album dates from mid-late 1969 and is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3058
Both labels OMIT the 'Sold in UK....' text but have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
There is no purchase tax code is visible in the centre of either.
Matrix numbers: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper codes: 3,4/PM & 2/MH
Vinyl weight: 142g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover with a small 'stereo' front indicator.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A clean and bright pair with just a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear no surface marks or wear in strong daylight, let alone a scratch. In fact, apart from a few harmless, barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp, there is nothing more to fault.
Sound Quality: MINT
Incredibly clean, clear and unworn stereo from these 1st pressing matrices. Played only a handful of times on excellent equipment only, my single careful play-check at volume found no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or in either channel. Both run-ins and all bands play without interference and I would sum up the sound quality of this copy as simply, flawless.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean and strong example with moderate handling & storagwear but no major faults. The front panel is clean and glossy with a few light wrinkles and minor wear to the lower corners and opening edge but no tears or splits. The rear panel is clean and free from any marks of any kind. All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams and the fully worded spine are unworn & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
Apart from some minor age-related blemishes in the paper (common to these inners), there is little other evidence of its 43 years.
