THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'
This great sounding UK STEREO pressing dates from 1970 and is on the 2-EMI-box Parlophone label: PCS 3058
Both labels have 'Made In Gt. Britian' printed on them & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
Matrix numbers: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1 (the same as the 1964 1st pressing).
Stamper codes: 3,4/GH & 2/MT
Vinyl weight: 147g
The disc is housed within a scarce front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with TWO rear flipbacks WITH 'Patent No. 943,895' printed in the lower right corner.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve which features the 'Let It Be' box set, amongst other.

A perfect pair with no marks or wear to or around either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight. Even careful inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp fail to reveal anything more than a few harmless wispy paper hairlines. Both sides of this superb disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: MINT
Unbeatable high-quality 'tube-cut' stereo sound throughout. Flawless.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong & unworn example of this scarce cover variant which remained in production for only a very short time until the upper and lower flipbacks disappeared inside. The front panel retains a clean, high-gloss laminate with just a handful of light wrinkles but no heavy creasing or wear. There is slight shelfwear rubbing to the extremities to the lower corners and the rear panel is clean and white with no significant blemishes or wear. Both flipbacks are clean & fully intact and both seams are smooth unstressed and the spine is fully worded and unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT -
Slight age-toning to the paper and a small side seam split but no heavy creasing or writing anywhere.
