Description
Here is an extremely hard to find 2nd generation purple Capitol label Canadian edition. These are so hard to find that it was given a five out of six on the scarcity index in Serge Pelletier's excellent book " Variations 1: The Definitive Beatles Canadian LP Collector's Guide". I have only ever seen three of these in my forty plus years of collecting. Almost all purple label copies are third generation labels. A new Capitol master was created for these when the rights to this LP were acquired by Capitol in 1979. The labels were also finally corrected to "I'll Cry Instead".
