2) CONDITION:
VINYL:
Conservatively, I’m grading it Very Good (VG) - please read my full description below, so there won’t be any surprises or disappointments.
It’s is one of those pieces that looks really, really nice under normal overhead room lighting - easily a strong VG++.
And even under a table lamp, it depends on the angle - hold it one way, and it appears to be at least VG+ - but change the angle and it shows an abundance of light scuffs on both sides. Nothing deep, but it was clearly played and enjoyed. It still has some luster, but would benefit from a proper professional-grade cleaning.
LABELS: Really nice - no writing, minimal spindle wear.
OVERALL COVER:
- No bends, creases, tears or seam splits.
- All four corners are square, but with a tiny area of exposed cardboard.
- 1/2” dent on upper right edge
FRONT COVER:
- Glossy, no fading.
- The only wear is VERY minimal, on Paul’s suit in the bottom area (isolated white spots/dots) - otherwise, beautiful.
BACK COVER:
- No visible yellowing (amazing for its age).
- Name written in red marker on back cover.
- Minimal wear (isolated spots/dots).
- A few light scratches, only visible in direct light.
And finally - no big deal, but the original Vee-Jay inner sleeve is also included (has a small tear at the top center).
