Corresponds with this specific release: https://www.discogs.com/release/6033667
Matrix / Runout (A-side stamped): YEX 749-2
Matrix / Runout (B-side stamped): YEX 750-1
Condition
Vinyl: VG or better
Some scuffing and light surface scratches visible. Unfortunately, there is a nasty little scratch in the middle of track A1 which causes a series of intermittent clicks for 30 secs or so. It's not that bad, but a real pity considering that apart from a few light ticks in track A4 and the very few on side B the album is remarkably clean IMO. Even taking the scratch into consideration, I still think it rates VG. I've recorded the offending section of track A1 so it can be listened to and assessed, here: https://ufile.io/psb4t05u
Media labels: Very clean. No spindle marks.
Sleeve: VG+
Very good condition, undamaged. A few lamination creases visible in certain light. Sleeve opening is rubbed from use but not excessively. The spine lettering is very clear.
Inner: very good, polylined, original I believe (inners get shuffled over the years and so I can't absolutely guarantee that this is the original for this album).
See images. I'm happy to receive a (domestic) return if you don't think the record is as described. I believe I've graded it accurately.
This is from my personal collection that I'm gradually disposing of. The album was purchased by me in 1969.
Personal trivia: my brother was a PC at Hampstead police station in London at the time. Abbey Road was on their patch and they were involved in managing the traffic during the photo shoot. That's the Hampstead J4 "black maria" police van SYO 724F parked in the background of the iconic album cover.
