Beatles - Abbey Road - 1st UK Press Misaligned Apple - No Her Majesty Label
Serial number: PCS 7088
Matrix number: YEX 749-2, YEX 750-1
Stampers: 4 ODD / 1 ALM
Rare 1st Press of the Beatles Abbey Road, with the 1st ever matrix variant - YEX 749 2 and YEX 750 1. The 1st ever label variant of Abbey Road omits 'Her Majesty' from the track title 'The End'. Only found on 1st ever pressings! and an incorrectly printed sleeve with the Apple logo on the rear famously out of alignment with the copy text.
Highly Collectable ---- However bad faults are Side 1 Track 2 jumps once and track 6 jumps a couple of times not really that noticable but a few clicks in between run in before music starts. the record has a few light stratches but nothing deep and plays well besides points raised. any more questions please ask before bidding many thanks indeed. Grading as Fair - good to be safe. A small label on both sides of record label see photos.
ORIGINAL Garrod & Lofthouse misaligned laminated Cover.
Grading of records in my opinion:
Mint Absolutely perfect The record should be in brand new condition The Sleeve disc, cover and any other contents should be in perfect conditionExcellent
A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear and only minor signs of being played.
Very Good
A Very Good record will show some signs that it was played There's no major deterioration in sound quality but there may be slight surface marks or very light scratches that don't affect the listening experiences. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc unless stated otherwise.
Good
A record in Good condition will play without skipping. But the sound quality will probably have deteriorated perhaps with surface noise, mild scratches and visible groove wear this would be a visual inspection only and not tested on a player unless stated otherwise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
Fair
The record is probably just playable does have lots of marks but tested and plays unless stated otherwise
Poor
The record is badly marked and won't play through without skipping however if you don't have a copy a rare record is better than none
