The Beatles "Abbey Road"

This is not only the first pressing of Abbey Road, but also a rare early variant -

* The Apple logo on the back of the cover is misaligned, as shown in photo on the left.
(Misaligned Apple - The picture of the apple at bottom left of the rear of the cover should be in line with the paragraph of text just above it. You can see it is instead misplaced/misaligned to the left.
* There is a secret track on the LP vinyl at the end of side 2.
Secret Track - On this record when you play side 2, there is a very long silence at the end of the last track - about 10 seconds of silence - and you think the LP has finished - then the secret track "Her Majesty" starts to play.)

* EX++ conditioN
* Apple logo misaligned.
* Fully laminated original cover by Garrod and Lofthouse.
* "Her Majesty" not listed on the rear of the cover .
* Wonderful condition, with no damage, no tears, all edges undamaged, no writing. A few small creases in the laminate.
* Spine immaculate, no wear, no creases.

* Matrices YEX749-2 and YEX750-1 ie first pressing.
* Stereo
* Dark green Apple label.
* Label number PCS 7088
* Both sides individually graded both visually, and also play-graded.

LP Visual and Play
Both sides have been played on a high quality deck with new stylus and individually rated both visually and for play quality
Side 1- No deep scratches, but has light surface rubbing. Visually graded VG+. Plays well all the way though, with no hops, no jumps, no sticks, no tiakcs and no clicks. An occasional faint crackle can be heard in some of the quiet parts of the last track and in the gap between tracks 4/5/ Rated VG+ Side 2 - again no significant scratches on the vinyl but there is light superficial surface rubbing, Marie is on the label, overall visually VG+ A few clicks in the runin groove, at the start of the first track, and Money..No hops, no jumps, no sticks, just an occasional very faint crackle in some of the quiet parts.
