The Beatles - Abbey Road
(Apple PCS 7088 UK LP 1969)
This is an original UK LP pressing. It has a fully laminated sleeve which has an extremely thin spine. It comes with its original "Apple" plain black inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has dark green "Apple" labels. It has 1st press YEX 749-2 and YEX 750-1 matrix numbers. The mother stampers are AP 1 and OT 1 respectively.
This is a genuine UK 1st pressing. It has the earliest matrix numbers, & mother stampers, & has no "Her Majesty" on Side 2's label.
Sleeve: There is some light or mild rubbing wear at the sleeve opening. There is some light or mild ringwear too. There is a mild to more moderate crease in one corner. VG condition
Vinyl: There are some mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are approx 5 light hairline marks. These vary in size from 1 cm to 7 cm in length. Good++ condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. The Apple plain black inner sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is a seam split down the majority of one side. Otherwise, fine.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There is a very quick bit of distortion on one track.
