Description
The Beatles - Abbey Road
(Apple PCS 7088 UK LP 1969)
This is an original UK LP pressing. It has a fully laminated sleeve which has an extremely thin spine. It comes with its original "Apple" plain black inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has dark green "Apple" labels. It has 1st press YEX 749-2 and YEX 750-1 matrix numbers. The mother stampers are GDT 8 and OL 1 respectively. There is no "Her Majesty" listed on Side 2's label.
Sleeve: There is a very tiny area of rubbing wear at the centre of the spine. There is some laminate lifting at the spine area of the rear sleeve. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light or mild ringwear too. There is a mild to more moderate crease in one corner. VG+ condition
Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are approx 6-7 light hairline marks. These vary in size from 2 cm to 4 cm in length. VG condition. There is a very tiny white scratch mark on Side 1's label. Otherwise, the labels are clean but show moderate spindle wear. The Apple plain black inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light or mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
