Description
The Beatles - Abbey Road
(Apple PCS 7088 UK LP 1969)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a fully laminated sleeve which has a very thin spine. It comes with its original plain black company inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has dark green Apple labels. Side 2's label omits "Her Majesty" The matrix numbers are YEX 749-2 and YEX 750-1. The mother stampers are GT 3 and RL 1. A genuine UK 1st pressing.
Sleeve: There is some light to mild ringwear & light rubbing wear in a few places. VG++ condition.
Vinyl: There is a 5 cm hairline scratch that goes across the first track "Come Together". It feels to the touch & causes some intermittent clicks through the majority of the track. A few of these are quite loud & some are hardly noticeable.
Otherwise there is some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be viewed under a strong light, & some light to mild pressing marks. VG condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear only. Apart from the aforementioned mark, & intermittent clicks, on "Come Together", the rest of the album plays VG+ to Near EX. There is some light, or very light, crackle in some quieter places.
The plain black inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is an 8 cm seam split at one side only. I shall place the LP in a separate plain paper inner sleeve to protect the actual inner sleeve during transit.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £8.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
