Description
The Beatles - Abbey Road
(Apple PCS 7088 UK LP 1969)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a fully laminated sleeve which has an ultra thin spine. It comes with its original plain paper inner sleeve. This is in VG+ condition.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has dark green Apple labels. Side 2's label omits "Her Majesty" The matrix numbers are YEX 749-2 and YEX 750-1. The mother stampers are RAA 7 and GMT 5. A genuine UK 1st pressing.
Sleeve: There is a 1" bit of rubbing wear to the top left edge. There is some mild ringwear & laminate creasing too. VG condition.
Vinyl: Side 1 has 4 quite long hairline mark. These cause some light intermittent clicks on about 4 tracks. Otherwise some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, & a couple of small hairline marks. VG condition. The labels are clean & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. There is a light scratch on Side 1's label though. Plays VG overall but there are the already mentioned intermittent clicks. Side 2 plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places on both sides.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
