Description
FOR AUCTION IS: The Beatles Abbey Road LP 1980 Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab / Capitol MFSL 1-023 OOP!
Mobile Fidelity's half-speed mastered pressing of Abbey Road — cut in Japan for MFSL's 'Original Master Recording' audiophile series, a process built to pull more detail and dynamic range off the master tape than a standard commercial pressing ever could. This is the 1969 album with the zebra-crossing cover that famously carries no band name or title on the front, closing with the extended Side Two medley that ties 'Golden Slumbers,' 'Carry That Weight' and 'The End' together. The record remains glossy with light surface marks. The jacket has visible corner and edge wear plus a sticker-removal area? at the lower-left corner; there is a 3/4 of an inch split on its top left corner. COMPLETE with MFSL inserts, original high quality inner sleeve also included. ULTRASONIC CLEANED!
LP IS: EX
Played with care may show light marks but nothing Major plays and transfers through smoothly.
