Description
The Beatles "Abbey Road" 1979 audiophile MFSL 1-023, archive copy, True Near Mint vinyl on both sides (appears unplayed?) pressed in Japan, cover is Near Mint all-around with no detractions, comes with the 1st issue hard-stock posterboard fold-out record protector, the feedback sheet, the MFSL Hype-sheet/LP list, anti-static inner sleeve, and outer plastic sleeve with reproduction high-quality Union Jack sticker. This was Mobile Fidelity's first Beatles' release...early pressings like this one came with the posterboard fold-out having a description of Mo-Fi's background called "An Audiophile's Dream Come True!" on one side, and the other side "Superdiscs Supertapes Superstars Super Quality" (later inserts had a photo of historical-looking figures holding up Mo-Fi LPs stating "Limited Editions From the Original Masters"). The LP itself is translucent (hold it up to a bright light and you can see through it) and it comes in a paper-line rice paper sleeve. A beautiful keeper of arguably their most iconic LP, and their last studio album together. U.S. buyer to pay $4.00 for media mail (Priority available upon request). Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer. International buyer please inquire for shipping costs which may include insurance and/or registered mail.
