THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
1969 UK 1st PRESSING LP
This superior conditioned 1969 1st UK pressing is on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7088
The side 2 label OMITS the 'Her Majesty' title listing.
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse ' printed cover with the Apple logo MISALIGNED beneath the rear side 1 track-listing.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patent No.' inner-sleeve.

A richly coloured and clean pair where the only significant blemish is a small 1cm 'bubble' in the paper on the Apple on side 1. Aside from that there is just a small collection of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole and no other blemishes or faults.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces of this well-looked after copy are extremely clean & bright and retain with all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. The only significant surface mark visible in strong daylight is a non-feelable 7mm hairline on side 2, but apart from that, there is little else to fault. Careful examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow gloss and a few harmless light marks but nothing of any significance. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing, with no traces of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This careful played copy has clearly only received attention from an excellent quality turntable as the sound is completely unworn throughout with no signs any where of any groove/play wear. In fact the only distraction I detected during my careful play-check at volume were three faint ticks in the background during 'Come Together'. All other tracks play cleanly & clearly with no further audible wear or distractions - even on the delicate introduction to 'Here Comes The Sun'.

EXCELLENT +
A really first-class example with a pristine, unscratched laminate where the only blemish is two small 'thumbnail' wrinkles behind John. All corners are sharp & square with no bumps or bruises to any. Both opening edges too are undamaged & unworn. The rear panel is 100% glossy and unscratched with no 'thumbnails' or any other signs of wear whatsoever. Both seams and the fully worded spine are all smooth, unstressed and completely unworn.

Some light handling wrinkles but no writing, tears or any seams splits.
