This superb 1st UK pressing of The Beatles' final studio album dates from initial September 1969 release and is on the dark green Apple Record label: PCS 7088

The side 2 label omits the 'Her Majesty' song title.

Vinyl weight: 147gg

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo misaligned beneath the rear side 1 track listing.

Complete with its original 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

A clean & unworn set with just two or three faint spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Perfectly clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from three non non-feelable/non-audible surface scuff lines on side 1 and a single one side 2 bear no further significant or any major visual blemishes or wear. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine and no other surface marks of any description - not even any wispy paper hairlines.

Play: EXCELLENT +

Wonderful warm, clean & clear sound from this well looked after and barely played copy which bears no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or background interference anywhere. There is a hint of background in the quiet piano introduction to 'You Never Give Me Your Money' but no clicks, pops or other such distraction to spoil the enjoyment of this great sounding pressing which will not disappoint.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

An extremely clean, strong and unworn example which retains its high-gloss laminate all-round with the front displaying just three small 'thumbnails' but no other signs of its 42 years. All corners are perfectly clean, sharp and unbruised and both opening edges are unworn. The rear is just as glossy with only two 'thumbnails' but no other wear at all. Both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit and the spine is clean, fully worded and undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +

Clean, flat & white with no creasing, writing, tears or seam splits.
