THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
This wonderful sounding copy is a UK 1st pressing dating from September 1969 release on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7096
The side 2 label omits the 'Her Majesty' song title.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
Stamper codes: 5/MRT & 5/AGM
Vinyl weight: 141g
The disc is housed within a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo misaligned beneath the side 1 track-list on the rear panel.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patent No...' inner-sleeve.

A richly coloured, unblemished pair with no more than three of four faint spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Spectacular deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' and totally unmarked in strong daylight, with only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Tough to find a cleaner, better looking copy.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This superb sounding disc has received just a small handful of plays on top-quality equipment and the sound is clean, warm & clear throughout and totally free from any traces of groove/playwear. The only distraction which caught my ear during my single careful play-check at volume was a single soft 'pop' at the end of the introduction to 'Here Comes The Sun'. However, this is barely noticeable and the disc is otherwise MINT for audio reproduction and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A truly sparkling strong & unworn example with a pristine unrubbed/unscratched high-gloss laminate all-round. The front panel has three or four 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards its opening edge, but is otherwise totally free from any damage or wear. The rear panel is MINT.
All corners are perfectly sharp and unworn and both opening edges are razor-sharp with no trace of wear to any part.
There is an almost invisible 1.5cm stress to the upper spine but this is not a split and the lower seam is fully intact. The spine is fully laminated and worded with no signs of wear along its entire length.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Clean, white and flat with just the unavoidable light disc impression and no writing, tears or seam splits.
