Condition
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Just a few light spindle trails around the centre holes.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces are pristine & unmarked in strong daylight with not a single marks or scratch visible on either side. Close inspection under my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing but a sparkling rainbow shine and a few insignificant wispy paper hairlines but no traces of any other visual wear whatsoever. Both sides lie 100% on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This outstanding sounding copy has received just a handful of careful plays on top quality equipment and has been carefully stored and unplayed since original purchase. Every track plays 'as new' with no traces of any groovewear distortion or background noise. Every aspect of the sound is superb - even the most exposed points such a the introductions to 'Something' and 'Here Comes The Sun' and the quiet passges on side 2 play without intereference. Even the dead grooves which preceed 'Her Majesty' are silent. My careful playcheck at volume also detected no ticks, clicks, pops or any other form of intereference to the outstanding sound quality of this barely played and cherished copy. You will not be disappointed.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
A strong and clean example with a glossy & clean high-gloss laminate which bears just some light storagewear and handling wrinkles but no major faults. All corners and both opening edges are sharp and undamaged. Apart from a small section of laminate lift on the rear spine, there is little else to fault on this very respectable example.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT -
Clean & crisp with just slight toning to the paper but no creasing, splits or tears.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely packaged in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover. All text & images © Bright Field Music 2008
