Description
Beatles Abbey Road pressed on Japanese vinyl. It is the rare Pro-Use Series which utilized half speed mastering with the original intent of being used for demonstration of stereo equipment way back when. Some consider this the best sounding version on LP. I agree. The MFSL pressing sounds like mush compared to this but then again many of the Beatles MFSL's are disappointing. The Pro-Use is a real delight to listen to.
Toshiba EMI EALF-97001
Play Graded: Plays like a new one(near mint) beginning to end. Keeper copy! LP was played on a Thorens TD 165 turntable with a middle of the line Shure cartridge and needle.
Visual: Looks like it has never been played but of course it has. As an audiophile myself I take care when playing or handling LP's. It has full gloss and is in near mint condition. Extremely clean with no marks.
Jacket: Beautiful with some edge and corner wear. The middle top and bottom have splits forming. I have not stored the LP in the jacket for many years to prevent further splitting. The spine is in excellent shape.
OBI: Excellent condition with no tears. The back does have some crinkling folds on it.
Inserts: Japanese/ English lyric sheet included inside in excellent to near mint shape,
All housed in a resealable plastic jacket(not shown).
