Description

Boy did I get a lesson in rare Beatles albums after finding this gem! This is an original 1966 pressing of Yesterday and Today with the trunk cover sticker over the original butcher cover. In the photos you can see where the sticker is laid over wording on jacket spine and top of jacket. You can also clearly see the triangle of Ringo’s tunic showing through. What makes this copy even more unique is that it is in stereo as indicated by the S in the number ST 2553. Also on the backside near the Record Industry Association of America logo, the number 2 indicates that this record came from the Scranton, PA plant.

This record has been lovingly used and so there are some condition issues to the cover such as , ownership markings, splits in jacket edges, and on the backside there is a tear. The damage that caused the tear did not damage the record playing surface and is evident in the non grooved portion of the wax. The record itself is in otherwise good condition, but does have an ownership marking on the side 1 label. This record has the original capitol records sleeve.

Note that the photo of side 1 angled to show condition appears to show damage on track 1 at about 10 o’clock- this is only in the photo and not on the actual record.

Beatles Album, Today And Yesterday, 2nd State Butcher, Stereo, Scranton, Used. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
