Description
I purchased this highly collectible Beatles album at the Capitol Records Swap Meet (a monthly gathering in the late 1970s in a parking lot across from Capitol's Hollywood headquarters). This album (Rarities / Capitol SN-12009) was never released and all copies were called back (sound familiar?). There was never an album cover designed for the LP which was scheduled for release in October, 1979. The vendor from whom I purchased the album wrote its short (at the time) history which you can view in photograph three (and scanner image displayed as photograph nine). The LP is pristine and plays in mint condition. It has been played twice; once when I bought it to transfer to quarter-inch tape and in February of this year to transfer to a digital archive file. Side two's label has a minuscule pockmark as shown in photograph six. This is a rarely available artifact. Email me your questions. Thanks for looking.
