THE BEATLES: ‘ANTHOLOGY 2’ – SCARCE USA/CAPITOL 7 TRACK 12" PROMOTIONAL LP – CAPITOL/APPLE SPRO-11206/7
In Pristine MINT condition, released in 1996, this is the SCARCE and OFFICIAL USA Capitol SEVEN Track **PROMOTIONAL ONLY** Vinyl LP issued on the Custom APPLE Labels to promote the Beatles Anthology projects. On each of the trail out grooves the machine stamped wording ‘Mastered by Capitol’ is present.
The IMPRESSIVE Promo features SEVEN **ALTERNATE** tracks including ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ – (Take 1), ‘I’m Only Sleeping’ (Rehearsal), ‘Eleanor Rigby’ – (Strings Only) and more (see scan 6 for full track listing).
This SCARCE Promo comes in a die-cut white inner bag and is housed in a totally UNIQUE Black and Silver Picture Sleeve – the front features a photo of The Beatles in the 1966 Revolver era. The reverse of the sleeve features the track listing and credits etc.
Both sides of the Record labels and both sides of the Vinyl disc are in PERFECT mint condition – just STUNNING. The sleeve is graded in fine mint minus condition – a LOVELY sleeve showing only a mild crease to the bottom right hand corner of the sleeve.
Please note that this Promotional Only LP was issued in extremely small quantities – always a pleasure to find a Beatles Official PROMO on VINYL as most are issued in CD format! – This PROMO was not Issued in the UK on VINYL only CD format! - Collectable!
