THE BEATLES - 'THE BALLAD OF JOHN & YOKO'/'OLD BROWN SHOE'

This great sounding UK 1st stereo pressing dates from its initial May 1969 release and is on the dark green Apple Records label: R 5786

A genuine red & white EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the 'A' side label

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & a have a small raised part in the centre of each label.

Matrix numbers: 7XCE 21306-1U & 7XCE 21307-1U

Stamper codes: 5/RP & 1/RO

The disc is housed in its original glossy black Apple company cover.

Labels: EXCELLENT

A bright and vibrant pair with just a little storage scuffing on the 'B' side but no wear or damage to or around either centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surfaces are clean & bright with the only blemish being a small manufacturing 'bump' on both sides (which does not affect sound or play) but no other significant surface marks or wear in any type of light.

Play: NEAR MINT

A superb sounding 45 with massive clarity and presence and, most importantly ,no audible faults or wear to either song.

Cover: EXCELLENT

Light storagewear but no major faults.
