1969 UK 1st PRESS *FACTORY SAMPLE* 45
This rare copy is on the dark green Apple Record label: R 5786
The side 1 label bears a genuine 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker.
The side 2 label carries a date stamped '27 May 19(69)' - 2 days prior to its offical UK release, suggesting this could have been a promotional copy.
It is housed in its wavy-top edge, gloss black Apple company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 21306-1U & 7XCE 21307-1U
The above '7XCE' matrices denote a mono release but the disc is in stereo.
Stamper codes: 5/RP & 1/RO

Both surfaces are clean & glossy with no significant surface marks visible in strong daylight an just light surface wear consistent with some turntable play directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: EXCELLENT
Both sides play cleanly & clearly with no significant deterioration to the sound quality or indeed any major faults.

VERY GOOD
General/light storagewear but no major faults throughout.
