1968/9 UK 2nd PRESS *STEREO* LP
**NEAR MINT**
This 1968/9 UK 2nd STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper numbers: 1,5/PG & 2/OR

Just a single faint spindle trail to each label.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both sides appear in MINT when viewed in strong daylight, with no groove-whitening or dulling to either surface from improper long-term storage.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible inner-sleeve storage/paper hairlines but no other wear.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This oustanding sounding disc has been played just twice on top quality equipment only.
All songs play cleanly & clearly, without any trace of any background noise or groovewear distortion.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently & there are no clicks, jumps or any other audible faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
Being made from extremely thin & flimsy card, finding one of these later covers in this condition is rare.
The front leaf is flat and glossy & bears just a single 'thumbnail' crease on John's neck & 3 spine wrinkles, but no other wear.
All edges are in perfect condition with no tears, rubbing or feathering. All four corners are square, clean & undamaged.
The rear panel has a small laminate bubble to lower edge and a light crease to the upper left corner but no further faults.
The inside is clean & black with no rubbing, writing or missing paper.
The spine is undamaged at both ends and all wording & laminate is present.
Both inner flipbacks & seams are in perfect condition.
This disc has been carefully audibly graded in its entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
