Description
The Beatles 'Beatles For Sale' UK first pressing in MONO(the superior mix for early Beatles). The sound here as the Beatles intended and it's a powerful listen!
Specifics:
Matrix: Side 1: XEX 503-3N Side 2: XEX 504-3N
Visual: Would be near mint except for a few marks. Two marks on side 2 are noticeable but have no effect on the music other than a few tics heard on 'Every Little Thing'. The thick vinyl shines beautifully and is very clean. The Yellow/Black Parlophone label is in excellent shape. KT Tax code on label.
Play: Recent playback on Thorens TD 165 turntable yielded beautiful results. It plays with almost no surface noise and is a keeper. So many copies were played or scratched to death and have intruding surface noise. Not this one. A keeper copy that you will be happy with!
Outer sleeve: Original flipback sleeve(no printer credit) is in excellent shape. These thin delicate sleeves are often found damaged. The front does has a fold(see picture) but otherwise it's in really nice shape. The spine is in very good shape. LP housed is plastic Japanese resealable outer sleeve to avoid further wear.
Inner sleeve: Original Emitex in very good condtion. LP housed in newer anti-static inner sleeve.
Finally: As an audiophile I have attempted to disclose everything of significance for this great LP which comes from my personal collection. If you want an original Parlophone UK first pressing that sounds great, well then, here you go!
