THE BEATLES - THE BEATLES (THE WHITE ALBUM). STEREO 1ST PRESS. 1968. PCS 7067-8.  2 LPS. TOP LOADER. NUMBERED 0435765. MATRIX VARIANT 1: SIDE 1 - YEX 709-1, SIDE 2 - YEX 710-1, SIDE 3 - YEX 711 - 1, SIDE 4 - YEX 712 - 1.
SLEEVE: (EX)
Fully laminated white gatefold cover has flaps on the left and right sides of the open gatefold with opening at the top. All sleeves are double stereo “Stereo PCS 7067-8” and mono “Mono PMC 7067-8” catalog numbers located at the bottom edge and title “The Beatles” located at the top edge. The front of the cover has “The BEATLES” embossed in raised block letters. The stamped seven-digit number appears in gray on a slight downward angle towards the lower right corner. Later copies have a more contrasting number.
Track listings inside left with EMI and Gramophone credits. Garrod and Lofthouse printing credit. 4 Beatles photos at lower right inside gatefold. Some small top right corner wear. Laminate intact. Slight crease at bottom right. Spine is very good. Title and catalogue numbers for stereo and mono versions present. No seam splits, writing, stuck on labels etc..Excellent condition for a 1968 Release with only very slight ring wear front and back and not stained or faded.
INNER SLEEVES (Good)
2 Original Black inner sleeves with some creasing and slight tear near the centre of one. Generally in good condition for the age.
LABELS:(EX)
Apple/Core labels present. Nice and clean with no stickers etc..Green printing around the outer rim of the labels. No spindle wear to speak of.
PHOTOS X 4: (VG+)
4 Beatles photos and a sheet divider are present and are in very good condition with only small minor corner marks from hanging on a wall.
POSTER : (VG+)
Giant Poster is also present with only minor corner marks from hanging. Some very minor discolouration. Lyrics on one side and great photos on the other.
TEST PLAYING:(EX)
Visually, the 2 LPs are in excellent condition with no major scratches or scuffs. There are a small number of minor hairline marks over the 4 sides.
The discs were played on an Audio Concept Deck, Naim amplifiers in series and Kef Foundry Reference Speakers.
There were no mis-tracking, jumping, clicks, pops etc.. Neither of the discs were warped. The excellent Stereo sound displayed good separation of instruments, drums and vocals. There was some minor surface noise in places but mostly between tracks.
CLEANING AND POSTING:
I will be using a Professional wet solution / hoover type Deep Groove Cleaning machine before sending, and provide a new replacement card inner sleeves and anti-static inner sleeves for your choice. The sleeve will have a good  plastic cover. I will pack well with cardboard stiffener pads and a cardboard record case for protection. Postage is by Signed for process.
