This set is one of the rarest and most desireable Beatles items. It is the American version of the Beatles Collection. It is still sealed. The Limited Edition number on the box is 1752. This is probably one of the only sealed copies in the world. As most of you know, this contains The original 13 Beatles LPs and a collection of rarities.
I bought this set new when it came out in 1978. In fact, 5 came to our record store and none ever made the shelves--the five employees got one each. This one was purchased for the sole purpose of an investment and now I want to cash in. The celophane wrapping was never taken off and, of course, none of the LPs were ever played. It has been stored in a separate plastic bag in a climate-controlled environment. There is a place on the bottom (seen in one of the photos) where the celophane has a small tear, but the box beneath is perfect. The $395 reserve is ridiculously low. The shipping cost, which will include insurance, will probably be between $20 and $35 Priority Mail, plus insurance depending on where you live in the U. S. I don't make money on shipping, so you will be charged what I get charged. I will ship expedited if you wish, but again, it will cost you.
I prefer that you pay me personally with a cashier's checks or money orders, but I also process credit cards. Paypal is a last resort. If you want to pay direct via credit card, let me know before you automatically do the PayPal thing.
