Beatles Butcher Cover 3rd State "Yesterday" ... and Today  with Original copy of Trunk Cover LP

Up for auction is a genuine 1966 3rd State (peeled) LP (ST-2553) of one of the most sought after collectible rock records in existence. This includes the original Capitol 1966 inner sleeve and Stereo record. As bonus, we are throwing in an original copy of the Capital official Stereo release (ST-2553) of "Yesterday" ... and Today with the Trunk cover.

The cover has a few very minor cover missing spots as can be seen in the accompanying photos.  Capitol factory paste-over glue lines are very light on this copy.  Overall, the seams are totally intact.  The back cover is clean with light wear with some tanning/light stains but nothing too terrible.Again, these are very common condition issues on these jackets. Comes with the original goldenrod 1966 inner sleeve.  We have many more detailed pictures loaded up on our store cloud drive and we can send you a private link to access them if you contact us and provide your email address in the request.

This is the original Stereo record in VG ++ condition with barely visible light scuffs and plays through cleanly. This is a play grade.  This is a pen mark on the LP label This is a visual grade not a play grade and this should play through  without skips but no guarantees on that.

This item is an original 1966 3rd State (Peeled) example of the legendary Butcher Cover. This item is guaranteed to be authentic and not a reproduction or bootleg. Purchaser understands that this is a used item and therefore we request that that all photos be clearly examined prior to bidding. Given the fact that this item has been peeled and altered from a 2nd state (unpeeled) condition to a 3rd state (peeled) example, this item has condition elements that reflect the process of treatment of the item when it was glued at the Capitol factory in 1966 as well as conditional elements from the actual peeling process. These elements generally involve mild glue lines and residue that were made at the pressing plant when the trunk cover was pasted over but also include some minor issues from the removal process. If you have any questions regarding condition, please feel free to contact us prior to bidding.
