Beatles Butcher Cover Yesterday And Today 2nd Second State 1966 Record Album
Description:
Original 1966 Beatles Yesterday and Today record album 2nd state butcher cover paste over. Ringo's black V-neck clearly visible in white area between trunk and right side. (see my finger pointing to the tip of the "V").
The jacket has "3" on back for factory.
The inner sleeve is very clean with no tears or splits. It has a number PE-12-2FFJ lower corner.
The disc is in surprisingly good condition good just some dust, no warping, no noticeable scratching, labels are very clean unmarked. It is numbered T2-2553-F11. A #2 is also hand-etched on one side following number. I have not attempted to play it.
Condition:
Reddish stain below title on front.
On back is some writing in red. Some soiling. No other writing.
Some warping of the jacket.
Top edge intact with some toning/darkening to exposed paper along edge.
Left edge/spine torn top to bottom.
Bottom edge almost completely torn but still attached (barely). It is a two part tear. One tear goes from left corner and follows along edge of the paste over and continues almost to right side opening. The other tear is towards back cover starting at right opening and running approx. 3-1/2 " (they overlap, thus front and back are still attached).
A tear at upper left corner at Capitol logo. It is pasted down. A diagonal tear at upper right corner also pasted down. Not sure why.
