Near complete run of the Beatles 'Deccagone' promotional singles from 1979/1980 of the Beatles' January 1, 1962 Decca failed audition with original color picture sleeves. These 45 RPM singles were the first exposure any of us had to this famous audition in crystal clear quality. I DO own the remaining 45 ('Sheik Of Araby / September in the Rain') - but I've misplaced it. If I find it before the end of the auction, I'll post a photograph of it. If I find it later on, I'll send it to the winning bidder as a gift.....;)
Included in this set is the complete Beatles Royal Command Performance from November, 1963 issued at the same time as the Deccagone singles.
I've also thrown in (2) EP's of the Beatles at the BBC. This is when high quality versions of the Beatles 1963 BBC recordings were just starting to come out . 'Four By The Beatles' features 'Carol, Soldier Of Love, Lend Me Your Comb' and 'Clarabella.' 'The Beatles Yesterday and Today' features the 1964 BBC recording of 'A Hard Day's Night, Long Tall Sally, Things We Said Today' and interviews with Brian Matthews. This EP comes in a color cardboard sleeve.
These were purchased at the Chicago Beatlefest in 1980. Everything is in GREAT condition (disregard the glare in the photos!) as when it was originally purchased. The cardboard picture sleeve of 'Yesterday and Today' has about a 2" split at the top. I'm happy to answer any questions about any individual 45.
