Description
Very nice Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) half-speed mastered stereo LP of The Beatles' Beatles For Sale album. This is my personal copy that I purchased directly from MFSL back in the 80s. I played this album three times at most (transferred to cassette back in the day, and never needed to transfer when the CDR age came because others had already done it for me).
I was always extremely careful when handling/cleaning my records and setting up my tonearm weight, etc., so this album is practically new. I have looked very carefully at the LP under a 60 watt bulb and cannot find even the smallest flaw to tell you about. The record truly still looks like it has never been touched. And I'm very conservative when grading!
It has been always been stored in a protective outer sleeve -- most of the time it has been in a resealable Japanese mylar outer sleeve. So the gatefold cover is still beautiful and glossy. No ring wear. No seem splits. No scratches or creasing. Sharp corners. The only signs of use at all is on the spine -- thin white lines that show the gatefold has been opened a few times (see photo).
