A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

Vinyl: EX++/NMint!!! Lovely heavy vinyl. She sounds simply SUPERB!...Even the run-ins are the quietest I have ever come across! I can't even see any marks when angled towards the light!!!!!! Retains ALL it's glory! *JUST A SMALL AMOUNT OF DUST* Gorgeously shiny Gorgeously flat Just: GORGEOUS INCREDIBLY well looked after.
Labels: EX++/NMint. Lovely and clear. Just a small handful of INCREDIBLY LIGHT marks visible only when angled towards the light.

Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text. NO hole wear worth mentioning. Lovely, clear silver text. No writing...lovely condition. Gorgeous canary yellow Parlophone. VERY DISPLAYABLE
Cover: EX!!. HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO SEE THESE DELICATE COVERS IN SUCH WONDERFUL CONDITION??!! Mono outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...There are just a couple of tiny crescent spidering areas to the two sided laminate, with another 3 very, VERY small finger spiderings emanating from the spine and bottom of the gatefold sleeve...VERY CRITICAL HERE!! The single downside are the top left and bottom left spine corners, which have around 1cm of rubbing and knocking to each-that really is it! The spine is still clearly legible and still wonderfully strong-as are the inner flipbacks. *UNCRUSHED* No Writing ANYWHERE!!
Inner: EX-. Poly-lined "Made In England" inner in great condition. It has certainly done it's job in keeping the record in tip top shape. The only down side is a small piece of 2cm missing fromthe top and 2 small foxing spots...That's it.
ALL IN ALL THIS IS A FANTASTIC COPY OF AN ORIGINAL PRESSING...SUPERB AUDIO AND WONDERFUL COVER-YOU WON'T FIND MUCH BETTER UNLESS YOU HAVE A TIME MACHINE (I do apologise for the use of the '!' but I felt this album warranted them)
