Beatles For Sale First Pressing Parlophone Yellow & Black Mono Vinyl Record LP

First pressing of The Beatles fourth studio album Beatles For Sale. This is a 1964 first pressing mono album with the Yellow and Black Parlophone record labels with the record matrix XEX 503 - 4N AND XEX 504 - 4N.

Another way to spot an original pressing is the original LP sleeve and record labels listed the song as Kansas City as "Kansas City" (Leiber & Stoller). After the attorneys for Venice Music complained, the record label was revised to read "Medley: (a) Kansas City (Leiber/Stoller). This can be seen on later pressings which has a black and white lablel.

Album is in very good to excellent condition. The laminated sleeve is in very good condition, it has some slight wear to the lower and upper spine which you would expect for a fifty year old album. There is a slight crease to the lower right of the opening flap and a small tear to the rear of the sleeve (please see image below). Vinyl record  has surface marks, however the record plays perfectly and sounds great, no clicks or scratches.

Our Vinyl is visually inspected under strong light for marks and imperfections. Any found are described in the additional condition section above or as per the Rare Record Collector grading system. Every one of our records has been tested by ourselves and has been machine cleaned prior to testing. Each record comes with a free an anti static cleaning cloth that is not available in the UK.

Mint (M): Perfect: This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer, with NO flaws what so ever. It looks as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.

Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear to the edges of the sleeve and or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the sleeve and extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

Returns are not accepted for auction items unless there has been an error in the listing by us. Returns are at buyers cost unless there has been an error in the listing. Any items for return must be advised within 14 days and must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were when dispatched. If any attempt has been made to modify or repair the item without authorisation then the return will not be accepted.
