Description

An original 1st press of BFS on UK Parlophone. Matrix 3N/3N. Note how the perimeter text mentions 'Parlophone' . Tax code and labels looking appealing and unworn. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with Emitex inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Nice looking labels! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity.. Why would one want to compromise on an out and out great rendition.  VERY difficult to find a truly super player. But I am pleased to report that this example is composed and consistently playing well. The very fussy 'Sun/Moon' tracks' often exhibit issues...but this example delivers a great rendition with minimal fuss. very unusual to hear these two playing clean back-to-back.
Cover (Vg+) Super difficult to find in top level condition - they nearly always tarnished. This example has avoided the ageing process and most surface wear too. Really nice solid opening panel .. The interior looks great just the odd blemish here and there on left side. Some edge wear...A couple of minor creases against spine edge on front. Spine 80% intact  Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A super specimen.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
