The Beatles - Beatles For Sale
(Parlophone PMC 1240 UK LP 1964)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks. It has an outlined "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original polythene-lined "Emitex" inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has "yellow & black" Parlophone labels. They have "The Parlophone Co.." and "Sold in UK..." texts. The matrix numbers are XEX 506-4N and XEX 507-3N. The mother stampers are GPD 2 5 and GMO 2 5. The "KT" tax code is stamped around the spindle hole on Side 1's label.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is a small 2 cm tear at the bottom rear sleeve - at the spine area. It goes through the rear sleeve only. Otherwise, there is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the top & bottom corner tips at the spine. The spine has not been crushed & is in very nice condition overall. There is some light ringwear on the rear sleeve, & a couple of light creases to the front sleeve. Overall not a bad copy! VG+ condition.
Vinyl: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be viewed under a strong light. There are 7 light hairline marks. These vary from 0.5 cm to 10 cm. Good++ condition. The labels are clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in some of the quieter places. Not a bad audio copy!The "Emitex" inner sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is some mild to moderate wear but no seam splits. A name has been written twice on one side too.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.85 to £8.00 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £9.00 to £11.75 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
