THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
1964 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
Comparing this -3N version and the -4N version of this LP, there is a significant difference on the song 'No Reply'.
At the end of the final verse when John sings 'Cause you walked hand in hand..'., there is a significant drop-out on the word 'Cause' on the -4N & EP version which does not occur on this -3N cut.
Take a listen to the track recorded from this actual copy on the player below, and compare it for yourself.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A 1st class clean & unblemished set with just a handful of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces of this extremely well-looked after copy are perfectly clean and bright with all of their 'as new' deep-goss shines fully intact. Careful examination on strong daylight showed up just a single faint surface mark on side 2 but no scratches of any other such wear. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp revealed nothing more than some light wispy hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal sleeve removal. Thsi is a nice heavy copy which lies 100% flat on the turntable on both sides with no signs of any dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This terrific sounding copy has been barely played and as a result, all track during my careful pay-check at volume were without any groovewear or background noise. Both run-ins and all bands played without distractions and there were no ticks, clicks, pops or any other such blemishes anywhere. Hard to find a better sounding early copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
An extremely respectable example of this fragile cover. The delicate front leaf is clean, flat & glossy with no creasing of wear or damage to the laminate. There is a touch of shelfwear to the lower edge but no tears to any of the fragile edges. The rear panel is just a glossy with just the unavoidable faint disc impression but no other signs of wear. The inside is very clean with no discolouration to the white areas or any rubbing to either panel. The cover's real only blemish is a small stress to the centre of the hinge, but both ends are fully intact and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Crisp & clean with some inevitable light storage creasing writing or seam splits.
