'BEATLES FOR SALE'
*EXCELLENT* 1964 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
The -3N/-3N matrix was not around for long and was very quickly replaced by the more common -4N recut. The main difference between the two occurs on the song 'No Reply'. The version on the -4N cut (and the EP) has a drop-out as John sings the word 'Cause..' on the final 'Cause you walked hand-in-hand..'. The -3N cut does not contain this error. Check your copy!

With 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co..' rims on both labels
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold mono cover.
Complete with an original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

Some spindle marks but no major faults.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely bright and glossy surfaces on this very carefully and well-looked after copy. Both sides are unmarked in strong daylight with no scuffs, marks or scratches to be seen. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals just a few wispy inner-sleeve removal marks but no other traces of wear. This nice heavy copy lies 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has received only some very careful play and is without any significant or major deterioration to the sound throughout. There are no clicks, pops or indeed any major faults on this cherished copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A first-class example of this fragile cover with a glossy and flat front leaf which bears no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing whatsoever. All the edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering. The rear panel is just as clean with its only blemish being a small section of laminate lift towards the spine area. Inside is clean, black & white with no discolouration, marks, writing or missing paper. The delicate hinge is completely undamaged top & bottom with no tears or splits to any part. Both seams are strong and unsplit and the spine is unsquashed & clean with its factory pinched ends fully intact.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Some minor storagewear wrinkling but no writing, tears or splits.
