THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This superb UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial December 1964 release and is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'The Parlophone Co..' worded rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper codes: 3/AM & 4/GO
Disc weight: 127g
Housed in an outer-laminated, inner-flipback gatefold cover.
Complete with its original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

A perfectly clean and unworn set with just a handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole and even less on 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean & deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a single non-feelable surface mark on side 2 are unmarked in strong daylight. Closer inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve but absolutely no further blemishes or wear. Both sides of this impressive example lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
One of their finest sounding stereo LPs and this superb sounding copy has received minimal careful play on top-quality equipment. The sound throughout is clean, warm and clear with no trace of any grove/playwear in either channel of any track. In fact, apart from a touch of normal, light background between tracks, there really is little else to fault.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A very respectable example of this fragile cover which retains a clean & glossy front leaf bearing a few wrinkles in the laminate from manufacture, but no creasing or other significant wear. There is slight shelfwear to the lower corners but no tears or feathering to any of the leading edges. The inside of the gatefold is clean and and free from any writing or missing paper. The delicate hinge is fully intact with no splitting or tear to either end. The rear panel is also clean & unworn and the spine clean , square and fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with minor age-toning and storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
