1968 UK 2nd PRESS *STEREO* LP
**'I'M A LOSSER' MISSPELLING**
This rare & NEAR MINT 1968 UK 2nd stereo mispressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
The side 1 label carries the 'I'M A LOSSER' misspelling.
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper numbers: 1/RP & 3/OD
No spindle trails.
(The yellow print is actually slightly different on both labels)
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both sides appear in MINT when viewed in strong daylight, with no groove-whitening or dulling to either surface from improper long-term storage.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible inner-sleeve storage/paper hairlines but no other wear.
Pressed on very thick vinyl which lies 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This oustanding sounding disc has been played just two or three time on top quality equipment only.
All songs play cleanly & clearly, without any trace of background noise or groovewear distortion.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently & there are no clicks, jumps or any other audible faults.
(I only grade records which are unplayed as 'MINT')
Cover: EXCELLENT
Made from thicker card stock, this example is extremely clean and strong and displays no significant or major wear anywhere.
The front leaf is flat and glossy with just 3 small 'thumbnail' size creases & a few tiny spine wrinkles.
There is some slight wear to the top edge of the front leaf, but no tears or missing paper.
The rear panel has a minor disc impression from storage but no further wear.
The inside is clean & black with no rubbing, writing or missing paper.
The spine is slightly discoloured but is undamaged at both ends with all wording & laminate intact.
Both inner flipbacks & seams are in perfect condition.
This disc has been carefully audibly graded in its entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
