THE BEATLES
'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This extremely rare variant on the 1969 'One-EMI-Box' label OMITS the word 'STEREO' from the 9 o'clock position and the '33 1/3' number from the 3 o'clock position on both labels.
This 1969 stereo pressing is on 'One-EMI-Box' label: PCS 3062
Both labels have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd' rims and the errors mentioned above.
Housed in an correct front laminated, inner-flipback cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix nos: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stampers: 1,6/PM & 1,6/OT

Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces are clean, bright and glossy and are unmarked in strong daylight with no marks or scratches to either side. Close inspection under halogen light only some barely visible inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines but no further marks or wear at all.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This carefully played copy sounds superb throughout with no traces of background noise or groovewear distortion in either channel. Both run-ins and all bands play without intereference and there are no clicks, pop, jumps or any other significant audible faults anywhere on this extremely rare variant.
Cover
VERY GOOD
Clean & intact which apart from slight feathering to the upper edge of the front leaf and the inevitable 1cm splits to the upper and lower hinges, is without any other significant or major wear. The inside of the gatefold is clean and bright with no writing or yellowing and the rear panel is also undamaged. Easy to upgrade.
