Description
Please read all information for condition information and look at photos. Up for auction is a 1964 release of The Beatles and Frank Ifield Jolly What!. This is VJLP 1085. This record label is the black label with colorband and brackets logo (see photos). Album cover has a purple background. Record is etched in the trailoff area as "64-3852". The album cover does have printing on the spline as follows: "Jolly What-The Beatles and Frank Ifield-VJLP 1085". The condition of the album cover is very good overall with no ring wear but it has a corner bump in the lower left and some small suface paper tears on top left edge. The small tears do not penetrate the inner fiber board. The record condition for side one is very good with some surface scratches but doesn't affect sound much. There is some swishing noise mostly noticeable in between songs and maybe a few pops, but overall a pretty good listening experience for a record of this vintage. Side 2 has some surface areas in the vinyl that create swishing during play. The surface areas are depicted in one of the photos. Record is not warped or deeply cut (not an overwhelming noise but noticeable). If you are looking for a rare Beatles record, this is one with a pretty nice cover but with a lower sound quality on side 2.
