‘ALL THINGS MUST PASS’ was George Harrison’s FIRST UK TRIPLE VINYL LP BOX SET, released by Apple on 30 November 1970 – and George’s FIRST album chart entry - spending 24 weeks in the charts, with the highest position at No 4. This George Harrison release is becoming INCREASINGLY COLLECTIBLE to find in COMPLETE, ORIGINAL and IMPRESSIVE condition, such as the one we are offering here.

‘ALL THINGS MUST PASS’ was released by APPLE Records UK on 30 November 1970 as a THREE VINYL BOX SET Set:
There are THREE FIRST ISSUE ORIGINAL UK Apple 12” STEREO Vinyl LPs. Two are on the ORANGE Custom Apple Label, and one is on the GREEN Custom ‘Apple Jam’ label, with the ‘Apple Records’ label rim, and ‘Mfd in UK’ printed to all six record labels, all three records have the **FIRST** Issue -1 matrix numbers,
Matrix and Stamper information:
Record ONE: Side 1 matrix: YEX 817-1U and Side 2 YEX 818-1U.
Record ONE: Side 1 stampers: 1GH and Side 2: 1 RL..
Record TWO: Side 1 matrix: YEX 819-1U and Side 2 YEX 820-1U.
Record TWO: Side 1 stampers: 2 AD and Side 2: 1 RO.
Record THREE: Side 1 matrix: YEX 821-1U and Side 2 YEX 822-1U.
Record THREE: Side 1 stampers: 1 GG and Side 2: 2 RR..
All three Vinyl LPs come in their ORIGINAL, thick paper COLOURED LYRIC inner sleeves. The Record 1 inner bag is LILAC, Record 2 is GREY, and Record 3 is MUSTARD.
There is an ORIGINAL Large Format 36” x 24”, Coloured POSTER with ‘Printed in the USA’ to the bottom right hand corner, together with the catalogue number ‘STCH 639’.
The Three Vinyl LPs and Poster are protected in the ORIGINAL, RIGID CARD, Black and White OUTER BOX, this box was manufactured in the USA, the majority of the boxes for this box set were made in the USA. Printed to the inside of the lid is the track listing for each record, and a list of musicians who contributed to this album.
Audio Quality:
All Three BARELY PLAYED albums sound SUPERB, without any skips, clicks or distortion.
Condition:
All six Record labels are in IMPRESSIVE Near Mint condition, all are CLEAN, UNDAMAGED and BARELY PLAYED, with nothing more than a couple faint centre spindle lines, all six record labels have the Mfd in UK label text.
All SIX sides of the Three WELL CARED FOR Vinyl discs are in STUNNING Near Mint condition, BARELY PLAYED, GLEAMING Vinyl Surfaces, with just the odd faint wispy hairline. There are NO scuffs or deep scratches to any of the Vinyl surfaces.
All three Original Coloured LYRIC Inner sleeves are in overall Excellent Plus condition. There is NO handwriting or tearing to any, all three inner sleeves have small seam splits.
The Original machine folded POSTER is in FINE Near Mint condition.
The Original Outer BOX, housing the complete Set is in VERY NICE Excellent to Excellent Plus condition. VERY UNUSUAL to find this outer box in such CLEAN, STRONG and FIRM condition, due to the fact that it is non-laminated and is more prone to soiling and damage.
This one has light handling marks, and light age toning to the front. All four corners of the lid and the box are UNDAMAGED with no splitting, the BRIGHT gold leaf lettering to the spine edge of the box reads ‘George Harrison/All Things Must Pass’ and ‘Apple STCH 639’.
RARE to come across this COLLECTIBLE ORIGINAL George Harrison Vinyl Box Set in such overall IMPRESSIVE condition. A LOVELY all round Example which could not disappoint. (Please note, the Box,inner sleeves, and Poster were Manufactured in the USA) All three vinyl LPs were Made in Gt Britain.
