This LP title was originally issued on the Dark Horse Records label in October, 1989 with catalog number 25726.

The LP in this auction is the UNCOMMON COLUMBIA RECORD CLUB ISSUE (COLUMBIA HOUSE). It has the Dark Horse Records labels with a slightly modified catalog number: W1-25726.

This COLUMBIA RECORD CLUB PRESSING was released in 1989.

It was released with a glossy custom lyric inner sleeve.

The LP contains 14 great George Harrison-post Apple-solo-artist cuts including: “Blow Away”, “Got My Mind Set On”, “When We Was Fab”, “Cheer Down” and “Wake Up My Love”.

The rear cover identifies this LP as a RECORD CLUB ISSUE with the printing “Manufactured By Columbia House Under License”.

You could NOT walk into a record store in 1989 and buy this Record Club Issue off the rack. You HAD to be a member of the Columbia Record Club to be able to order/buy and receive this LP be mail.

You will notice on the rear cover that there is a blank white rectangle at the upper right corner where the bar code would have been printed; however, since it is a Columbia Record Club issue and was NOT produced to be sold in retail stores, there was no need for a bar code to be printed in that space.

The COVER is in NEAR MINT CONDITION and STILL in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP.

This LP was issued with a GLOSSY CUSTOM LYRICS/CREDITS INNER SLEEVE which is included it is in VERY NICE CONDITION with just a 2-inch split on one of the side edges.

The VINYL is in NEAR MINT CONDITION. The labels have the Columbia Record Club catalog number W1-25726 printed on them.
Record Club Pressings are becoming tougher to come by these days due to their limited quantities issued, and this one is in really nice condition, for sure!
