·       THE CONCERT FOR BANGLA DESH by George Harrison & Company (Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, Ringo Starr, Klaus Voorman, Badfinger, and Ravi Shankar)

·       This is Apple Records STCX – 3385.

·       This is a FIRST PRESSING of this APPLE RECORDS BOX SET! How do we know? Because the initial boxes have an ORANGE INTERIOR. (Second pressing boxes have a white interior.)

·       This 3-record box set has custom Apple labels.

·       This box set was issued December 20, 1971. 

·       The box set contains:

1)   Box (Lid & Bottom) that holds the contents

2)   3 Vinyl LPs

3)   3 tan inner sleeves

4)   64-page color booklet

·       This concert is historic, as it was the first benefit rock concert, and it brought together many great talents to raise money to aid the starving population of Bangla Desh.

By Ravi Shankar: One side is devoted to Indian music (sitar, table, etc.)

·       The TEXTURED BOX itself is graded VG+. There is very light wear on the box lid. The center image of the malnourished child is nice and clean. The BOX LID has NO SPLIT CORNERS. The box bottom has some light wear/light smudges and a few small and light stains. The BOX BOTTOM has 1 split corner that has been nicely repaired. How many of these boxes have you run across where ALL of the corners are split and the box is FLAT!!! 

·       The VINYL (all 6 sides) is in NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. There are just a few very light surface hairlines/scuffs.

·       The 3 INNER SLEEVES are included and are in VG+ CONDITION. They have light to moderate signs of handling. There are NO SPLITS on the SLEEVES. These are the CORRECT INNER SLEEVES for this pressing.

·       The 64-PAGE BOOKLET is INCLUDED, and it is in NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. There are just very light signs of handling.

·       It’s a GREAT George Harrison box set of a LEGENDARY CONCERT in VERY NICE CONDITION to add to your collection!!
