Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
George Harrison-"Wonderwall" LP, a UK pressing, Apple APCOR 1, released in 1968. This LP has the distinction of being the very first release on Apple and the very first solo Beatle LP. This is the very scarce Mono pressing. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG+, close to NM-, condition, with both sides having a few extremely light, non-feelable marks. Both sides still retain their full gloss. Labels do show some spindle marks. Cover is also in VG+ condition, with light general age wear, nothing severe, typical for a UK LP cover due to the lighter cardboard they used for their covers. Includes the original black inner sleeve, in overall nice shape with slits on two sides. Also includes the original insert, in VG condition with some light wrinkles and foxing on one side. Very scarce piece of Harrison/Beatles vinyl; this Mono pressing is very hard to find in any condition.
