Description

The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. I'm going to start listing this collection slowly, probably listing only one or two items a week in the beginning, on Wednesday nights, gradually increasing the items listed over time. I'm going to list five items this week just to give everyone an idea of the kinds of things I have in this collection. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as most of the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

George Harrison-"The Concert For Bangladesh" 2 LP set, Capitol SABB-12248, pressed in 1982. New technology allowed Capitol to re-release the original three LP set on two LP's, but this was withdrawn at the last minute and was never released to the general public. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM condition. This started out sealed, but over time the shrinkwrap dry rotted and came apart. LP's have NEVER been taken out of the cover. Cover is NM-, with a cut out, or promo hole. Spine has become discolored from sun exposure. Very rare piece of Harrison vinyl, in like new shape.
