THE BEATLES - 'GET BACK'/'DON'T LET ME DOWN'
1969 UK 1st PRESSING *FACTORY SAMPLE* 45
A rare version of this 1st mono pressing is on the dark green Apple label: R 5777
The side 2 label bears a genuine 'Factory Sample - NOT FOR SALE' sticker.
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text but omit the 'NCB' letters.
The 'KT' price/tax code is visible in the centre of the 'Get Back' label & in both run-outs.
Housed in its original glossy Apple Records company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 21296-1U & 7XCE 21297-1U
Stampers: 1/A & 2/T
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & bright set with a clean & unmarked 'Factory Sample' sticker and just a few light spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both surfaces of this rare disc are extremely clean and bear no significant marks in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals some light rubbing marks to the 'B' side (from the turntable I assume) but no scratches or any other major marks. The disc is slightly warped but this does not affect sound or play
Audio: EXCELLENT
Both sides of this rare copy play without any significant deterioration to the sound qualitly or any major faults.
Cover: VERY GOOD
Clean & fully intact with just some general storagwear creasing but no splits or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
