Description
From my personal record collection I am offering two rare Beatles records with picture sleeves. The first record offered is Girl b/w You're Going To Loser That Girl. The picture sleeve was printed by Capitol Records with plans to issue it in 1977 as a single for Love Songs album but was withdrawn at the last minute. There was no vinyl pressed or the released. However, some enterprising folks did press an unauthorized vinyl record in yellow/gold clear vinyl to keep in line with the color scheme of the album and picture sleeve that you see here. The record label has the likeness of Capitol Records trademark and other information pertaining to the release and issue.
The second record in this offering is Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da issued by Capitol Records in 1976. The run out groove shows Mastered By Capitol. This is a first issue as indicated by the sleeve having a number imprint on the picture sleeve similar to the first pressings of the White Album The number on the sleeve is 151344.
I personally acquired these records at the famous Pasadena Record Swap Meet, (in)famous for employees and executives providing/selling such rare records as the first state Butcher Cover LP's. These records have not been played and have been stored upright in 3mil plastic sleeves with the vinyl placed in generic white sleeves to avoid any, or further record impression on the sleeves.
