THE BEATLES: 'A HARD DAY’S NIGHT' – **MEGA SCARCE** 1965 UK **2nd PRESSING STEREO** LP - PCS 3058
With the Vinyl Disc in SUPERB close to mint condition, featured here is the MEGA HARD TO FIND **2nd Pressing UK STEREO** of the Beatles 'A Hard Day’s Night' LP which was very BRIEFLY issued back in 1965.
The Album is presented in a Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse flip back Sleeve, with the MEGA SCARCE **small 'stereo'** printed to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve (this variant is rare!).
The Vinyl LP is on the Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with **Gramophone** Co Ltd rim and with Sold in UK.... label text. The side 1 matrix is YEX 126-1, and the side 2 matrix YEX 127-2. The side 1 stampers are: '3', 'OO', and the side 2 stampers are: '1', 'AH'. The embossed 'KT' tax code is clearly visible to the side 2 record label. The LP comes in an EMI Printed Sepia advertising inner bag, and is housed in a Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve, with three flip backs to the reverse of the sleeve.
Now turning to the grading of this STUNNING example - Both sides of the record labels and both sides of the vinyl disc are in FABULOUS **close to mint** condition - Lovely BRIGHT, UNWORN record labels showing only the faintest of spider marks - the Vinyl is FLAWLESS, bright and Gleaming, and hardly looks played. The album plays very well, without any skips, jumps or distortion. The sleeve is in overall excellent condition - The front of the sleeve is CRISP and CLEAN, with a very nice flat spine, edges and corners and undamaged flipbacks –The reverse of the sleeve displays some staining to the right hand side (see scan provided), otherwise it is clean and undamaged.
This Rare Variant is SELDOM seen in stock, and serious Beatles Collectors will appreciate that this early variant is very hard to find. A real bonus to find the Vinyl in such OUTSTANDING condition - Not to be missed, as we do not anticipate seeing another one in stock in the short term!
